Here you can surf the German, English, Czech, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch vocabulary! Just enter a word, and its inflectional forms, variants, similar words, associations and collocations will be shown. By clicking on the words you can easily browse through whole semantic fields.

Important note:

• Word Surfer is case sensitive!
• Highly frequent function words like the, a, and, with etc. are not stored in the data base!
• You can only search for single word terms, but not for multi-word terms (like New York) or phrases!

How does Word Surfer work?

Word Surfer is an automatically computed Thesaurus. The similarities have been generated by statistical analysis of very large document collections.

Word Surfer is based on DISCO.
